Tigiwon Tour

The 2-Hour Camp Hale (Tigiwon) Tour is one of the most family-friendly snowmobile outings available in Vail. Departing from a private lodge at historic Camp Hale, this guided ride offers two hours of winding forest trails and broad alpine meadows, climbing to elevations over 10,500 feet. Guests enjoy sweeping views of surrounding ranges and plenty of opportunities for photos along the way. This tour is especially popular with families, as children as young as two years old can participate as passengers. Double riding is encouraged, making it a great choice for parents who want to share the adventure with younger riders. All outings include modern Ski-Doo machines, helmets, and a professional guide to ensure both safety and enjoyment. Drivers must hold a valid license and be at least 16 years old to operate their own sled. Warm snowsuits and boots are available on-site while supplies last.Transportation is included from Vail, Beaver Creek, Avon, and Edwards, so resort visitors can easily access Camp Hale without driving. Shuttles depart at 8:30 am and 1:30 pm daily, with guides waiting at the lodge to help you prepare for the ride. Please note that the Tigiwon Tour is not offered during peak holiday periods. Because spots fill quickly, advance reservations are highly recommended.
