Our High Performance Vail Snowmobile Tours were designed for riders seeking a full-throttle snowmobiling experience in some of the most adventurous terrain Colorado has to offer. These tours are highlighted by an upgrade to powerful Ski-Doo Summit Series machines, equipped with paddle tracks that provide access to deep powder fields and high alpine bowls. Guests can choose between the light and nimble Ski-Doo Summit 600 or the immensely powerful Ski-Doo Summit 850 for unmatched deep snow performance.
Adventurous snowmobilers can choose from a Full Day or Half Day Tour, departing from historic Camp Hale. Tours ascend to elevations of 12,500 feet atop Ptarmigan Mountain, providing riders with stunning views of Colorado’s highest mountain summits. This tour does not allow for double riders due to the aggressive nature of the terrain it accesses.
High Performance Guided Snowmobile Tours in Vail, Colorado
What sets the High Performance Vail Snowmobile Tour apart is the combination of elite equipment and world-class terrain. The Ski-Doo Summit Series is purpose-built for deep snow and aggressive alpine riding — exactly the conditions you’ll encounter on this tour. The Summit 600 offers a nimble, responsive ride ideal for riders who want agility in tight terrain, while the Summit 850 delivers raw power for those who want to dominate deep powder fields and steep bowls.
Ptarmigan Mountain and the surrounding terrain at Camp Hale offer some of the most dramatic and varied high alpine snowmobiling in Colorado. At 12,500 feet, sweeping panoramas of Colorado’s highest peaks surround you in every direction, and the deep champagne powder that defines Vail’s legendary winters fills every bowl and meadow. There is no better setting for a High Performance snowmobile tour in Vail, Avon, or Beaver Creek, Colorado.
All High Performance Vail Snowmobiling Tours include complimentary door-to-door transportation from Vail, Beaver Creek, and Avon, a professional guide, helmets, boots, and snowsuits.
